Be Nice, help others, don’t be a copy cat, run your business professionally and work together. Failure to do so could mean we remove you… which we can do whenever. But, if you need it spelled out, here’s the details.
When in doubt Be Nice AF. This extends to people of all skin colors, religions, backgrounds, sexual orientations, etc. We are totally for your freedom of speech. However, if that extends to you bashing another person or business you’re not a fit for our marketplace. Discrimination or hate speech against anyone for any reason is cause for immediate removal from our site.
This extends to your products, personal website, social media, etc. By joining the Market you are connected to Crossing Broadway and your behavior reflects on us. For this reason we reserve the right to approve, deny and remove businesses from our platform for any reason.
Please do not list any products that would fall under copyright infringement. If this happens you may be immediately removed from the site and held accountable for any legal action taken on behalf of the brand.
This sentiment also extends to other members on The Market. Even if their design is not copyrighted, please do not mimic a quote or design. It’s just plain not cool. We do understand that trends are trends for a reason but we all know the difference following a trend and recreating another’s design.
The goal of Crossing Broadway is to put a spotlight on women-owned brands. The quickest way for all of us to grow is through promotion. Not only will your clients continue to support you but they’ll also discover other kick ass brands. The same is true for you being found through referrals from other businesses. Promote other products you love along with yours, talk about the market, etc. Trust us, people will love you for supporting other women.
Fact: People hate paying shipping. They really hate paying shipping for each individual item if they’re grabbing earrings from you and a tee from us. It’s better to jump your price a few dollars than lose the sale once they get to check-out!
Although your products are managed and shipped by you, the way you handle that process reflects upon Crossing Broadway and all other vendors. We ask that you respond to inquiries promptly, ship as quickly as possible, speak with respect, etc. If an item is refunded for any reason we also expect you to cover those costs.
Managing your business in any way that reflects negatively on Crossing Broadway or any of our other vendors could result in immediate removal.
Joining the Market is free. We only take a commission from what sells. Think of us like your affiliate! We also split the price of credit card processing with you so that’s 1.5% to you. Total 16.5% of your order.
If you start selling like mad (over $25,000) or a huge big deal brand feel free to talk about negotiating this number.
